My name is John Ballam, I am the Managing and Technical Director, and have been in the field of on-site sewage disposal for the past twenty-five years.

During my career in this field, I have, amongst other ideals, endeavoured to keep abreast of modern technology and offer a personal service to our every client; in fact, it is my humble opinion that, by maintaining these ideals, we have attained the status of being one of Southern Africa's leading suppliers of septic tanks and allied sanitaryware products.

Further, we have always promoted quality merchandise at affordable prices.

Our expertise has covered many fields, in many countries, on such projects as constructing sewage package treatment plants, design and constructing border post septic tank schemes catering for 3.000 capita per day, V.I.P. sanitation, disposal schemes for mine compounds, septic tank systems for townships, sewage and waste water disposal schemes for schools, septic tanks for holiday coastal resorts, sanitation for game farms, and many hundreds of plot-holders' and other domestic users' requirements - to mention but a few.

Recently, I designed a simple but effective waterproof V.I.P. (ventilated improved privy) tank and pedestal assembly for use in rural areas, whereby this unit positively prevents the pollution of subterranean waters, as was the case of the hitherto common pit latrine.
